The UMM-TE High Lift Tape Edge System from United is purpose-built for mattress tape edge operations, delivering smooth, consistent sewing with both standard and FR thread. Engineered for flexibility and operator comfort, the system combines precise motion control with durable construction to support reliable, high-quality production.
A variable-speed drive motor with automatic corner slow-down allows operators to adjust sewing speed while maintaining clean, controlled cornering. The system is available with either a Pfaff 5625 or Singer 300U sewing head, each configured specifically for tape edge applications. An electrical linear drive controls both table height and sewing head tilt, making it easy to accommodate mattress profiles ranging from 4″ to 22″.
Designed for ease of use and long-term performance, the UMM-TE reduces operator strain, simplifies setup, and maintains consistent stitch quality throughout the shift.
