The UMM Automatic Belt Flanger is a motorized belt table system paired with the powerful UMM-ABF-6000 Flanger, engineered for high-performance mattress panel production. Designed to flange even the thickest and densest panels in the industry, the system delivers consistent, reliable results while streamlining material handling.
An ergonomically designed belt table improves operator comfort and control, making heavy panel handling easier and more efficient. By reducing operator fatigue, simplifying training, and de-skilling the process, the system helps increase overall production efficiency. An automatic flange cutting and feeding system further minimizes operator movement, boosting throughput and consistency panel after panel.
At the core of the system is the UMM-FM-6000 Flange Machine, a high-performance panel-sewing overlock machine capable of handling panel thicknesses from 3/8” to 6” or more. Featuring a walking foot mechanism, it delivers smooth, consistent sewing across a wide range of materials, ensuring accurate sizing and improved finished panel quality.
