The UMM-PB-5625 Panel-Binding Machine utilizes a Pfaff 5625 sewing head and single-needle chainstitch to bind medium- to heavy-weight panels with strength and consistency. By incorporating the “half-capping” process into mattress production, manufacturers can significantly reduce labor requirements and eliminate common bottlenecks at the tape-edge operation, as only one side of the mattress requires final closure.
